About Delphi
Delphi is a qualified counsellor, well-being trainer and mindfulness practitioner. She started her therapeutic career about 20 years ago, working with the bereaved. She now works mainly in the community promoting mental health maintenance, and helping people get their ’sparkle’ back, often during or after a difficult time in their lives. She delivers well-being courses and workshops including Stress and Anxiety management, Building a Resilient Mindset, and Relaxation through Mindfulness. Delphi also has a special interest in dreams and appears on TV Shows like Loose Women and ITV’s This Morning. You can find out more about her here.

What is Mindfulness?
In my book Answers in the Dark, I talk about how our thoughts can sometimes take us “down the plughole” – and it’s dark down there. One of the things I suggest is mindfulness, and how it can help us stay in the here and now, rather than diving in to the past, or lurching in to the future in our mind. Mindfulness won’t be right for everyone though, so I created this video to help people decide if it’s right for them.
